About Us
Welcome to the Social Support Foundation (SSF)
Our BackgroundThe Social Support Foundation, Ghana (SSF), is a not-for-profit, independent, non-governmental organization that was established in August 2000. It began as a multi-sectoral community support group in the Adansi Traditional area of the Ashanti region, providing assistance to the needy and deprived. Since then, the SSF has grown to cover six regions and 22 districts, with operations coordinated from four offices across Ghana. The foundation is registered with the Registrar General’s Department, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Department of Social Welfare.

Achievements | – Capacity building of Municipalities in Public Financial Management and Social Accountability. – Training and support for community volunteers on child development and prevention of child abuse. – Educational support and social integration for 85 OVC. – Counselling, financial support, and education for PLHIV Associations. – Advocacy and awareness on HIV and AIDS. |
